What is Missions?
Understanding missions is bigger than reading one or two verses of the Bible. Actually, to fully understand why God set out on a mission and what this mission is, we would have to go on a journey throughout the entire Bible – because that is the single unifying story of the entire Book. Today, over 2000 years after Jesus asked us to continue this mission, billions of people on earth have still not heard about Jesus.

What moves us to action
- Almost 30% of the world population have not heard about Jesus and have no access to hear. No Bibles in their languages and nobody to tell them
- 6,741 of the 16,591 People Groups (tribes) in the world are unreached - i.e they have less than 2% Evangelical Christians among them
- About 95% of all ministry workers and those joining ministy are working in places where there are already Christians. Only about 5% are working among the Unreached.
- 4,400 languages do not have any portion of the Bible in a language they can understand.
- If you compared the number of Churches to the number of Unreached Peoples Groups (UPG), there are more than 1,000 Churches for every UPG.

Unreached: Less than 2% Evangelicals. Less than 5% Professing Christians. 41.7% of World Population.
Minimally Reached: Less than 2% Evangelicals. 5% – 50% Professing Christians. 3.6% of World Population.
Superficially Reached: Less than 2% Evangelicals. More than 50% Professing Christians. 6.9% of World Population.
Partially Reached: Between 2% – 10% Evangelicals. 25.2% of World Population.
Significantly Reached: More than 10% Evangelicals. 22.6% of World Population.
